Star Wars Clone Wars Animated Series Exclusive Vehicle Republic Gunship

วันเสาร์ที่ 21 มีนาคม พ.ศ. 2552

This is an excellent toy. TO start off, It's much more durable than the other vehicles being released alongside with it (AT-TE, AT-AP, ARC-170, etc.) all the pieces stay together and is very simple to put together. With the doors open, I was able to fit 9-10 troopers on, without and remaining space. It also comes with spare missiles, should you lose any. get it quick, scalpers and fans alike are picking them up!Buy Star Wars Clone Wars Animated Series Exclusive Vehicle Republic Gunship!

Star Wars X-Wing Fighter Vehicle with Luke Skywalker Figure

วันศุกร์ที่ 20 มีนาคม พ.ศ. 2552

My mom is writing this review for me. I am 6 years old and I got this from Santa. Luke skywalker fits in there, luke looks good his hands come off and I lost both of them. THis toy does NOT include an R2D2 unit, even though there is a place for him on the ship. Luke didn't come with a blue light saber, either. You only have to put on the wings when you buy it. The wings are strong and don't come off. The feet work good too. It can go in attack position. May The Force Be WIth You. - Miles 6Buy Star Wars X-Wing Fighter Vehicle with Luke Skywalker Figure!

Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi’s Starfighter

วันพฤหัสบดีที่ 19 มีนาคม พ.ศ. 2552

We purchased several Clone Wars vehicles and action figures for our 2 boys aged 6 and 8 1/2. Obi-Wan's Starfighter and the Torrent Starfighter are the sturdiest. The only issue we have really had with Obi-Wan's is the cockpit hatch popping off every time my 6 yr old tries to put a guy inside. This can be frustrating for a parent constantly being interrupted to reattach it. And in the near future the thing is just going to be so worn from the constant on and off again that it is just not gonna go back on. The spring-open wings are made of thin plastic and the button you push to open them requires quite a bit of applied force. This line of Clone Wars toys is marketed for children aged 4 yrs and up. I have to totally disagree with that!! I was really looking forward to some sturdy toys for my boys and this stuff did NOT deliver!! The Walker is CRAP and the V-Wing is definitely inappropriate for a 4 yr old (my 6 yr old is too rough for it). And just so you know the action figures are ALL flimsy. Their hands come off and are lost and they are weak, flimsy plastic... not durable. Buy Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi’s Starfighter!

Star Wars 3.75" New Millennium Falcon

What can I say....this is the Falcon as I had always wished it would be. The lights, features and details are really incredible, my favorites are the cockpit lights, boarding ramp and boarding ramp flood lights. Cockpit holds four figures and there's tons of room for other figures throughout. I only wished they included some gear, etc with it for the price. I actually went and got the set of figures "training on the Millenium Falcon" with Ben, Luke, R2, and Threepio which comes with the masks, helmet with shield and cargo boxes and put all the gear on board. Also, all those figures that come with that "battle gear" on those boxes, yeah, threw that in the aft cargo hold.
As far as the landing gear....yeah, you won't be lifting off and blasting out of Mos Eisley anytime soon. They come off easy. But, as I said in discussing the AT-TE, these are more stationary playsets. The landing gear are screen accurate(mostly). And seem well suited to support the weight of this thing. But again, this like the AT-TE, is a play on, around or in, as opposed to flying all 15lbs sideways through door ways. Is what it is.
Overall, most of us old timers from the Kenner days certainly appreciate this thing. It really is impressive. Be careful of the chairs...some do seem alittle delicate...ALSO, the articulation and scuplt have changed in the line drastically over time...some figures will obviously fit better than others....Buy Star Wars 3.75" New Millennium Falcon!

Star Wars 3.75" Republic AT-TE Tank Vehicle

I recieved this as a bday gift from my girlfriend. I won't reiterate the features and rave about it's size and features. Others have already done that. IMO, this is definitely one of the best Vehicle/playsets made for the line, topped only by the Millenium Falcon. I heard about the leg issue after the fact, but have not had any issues. Being that this is a newer one, it may have the new legs on it. Mine has been sitting on the floor for a few days and I have not found it toppled over due to a leg seperating. In fact, the only time one did come off, is when I stood up quickly, my leg asleep and my 200lbs came down at the base of one of the center legs and it popped off. I won't hold that against it.
That said, I think that while this is touted as a vehicle(it does have small wheels) it is certainly more of a playset(read play on and in and around). Much like the MF is. Like the MF, the sounds, lights, features and detail in this is great. Certainly, if you have the gimp legs with yours, contact Hasbro and they will send the replacements, and they should have no problem.Buy Star Wars 3.75" Republic AT-TE Tank Vehicle!
