I got 3 for Christmas six months ago, a green, a blue, and a purple. They look good and are quite durable. They will raise a welt on the skin if a 4 year old whacks someone with all his strength. Realistic (to the movies) looking handles, but none of our handles are truly comfortable to hold for swordplay. I do think that the value of fun, imaginative play, is high in these toys. My son wanted this and its a fun toy for him to play with but it falls apart too easily. The guns dont stay in after a while and the robot legs keep falling off. I don't buy many action figures or collectibles these days, but this set I felt compelled to purchase. As the ultimate victory of good over evil- and the redemption of evil- it just makes me feel... good. I keep it up on my bookcase and I don't care who sees it.

I know that the figures are made of a polymer but they have the look of frosted blue crystal. Mine will always remain in their box because it makes an excellent little diorama and dust cover.

Commander Gree is awesome. His paint job isn't very movie accurate, but he is stilly really cool! I don't know why he comes with that big projectile launcher, but still, he's still really cool!Buy Star Wars Rots Commander Gree Figure!

If you have ever wanted your own lightsaber, this is about as close as you can get. Like all FX lightsabers, the handle is made of proper metal so its a good replica rather than a toy. The blade lights up with LEDs so it is very bright and lights along the blade. The sound effects are the icing on the cake. They won't stand up to a proper fight, but they can take a few knocks if you fancy a careful duel.

Everyone I know has thought the same about these things. The first impression is 'well, thats a lot of money for a silly toy, I'm sure its a good replica but who needs it really'. However, as soon as they get one in their hands and turn it on you can see them thinking 'I have GOT to get me one of these'.

If you've already got one FX lightsaber, you don't need another, but if you are tempted at all, trust me, you want one. Do shop around though as prices vary wildly. The blue Anakin/Luke saber is quite common and cheap, as is the red Vader one. The Obi wan and green luke sabers are discontinued and hard to find. Yoda's is very small, and Darth Maul's twin bladed verion is understandably expensive. The most expensive is the Mace Windu purple one that is usually twice the price of the others. I owned it at one time and was dissappointed that most figures couldn't stand up in the holding area. It really killed the toy for me. I just can't recommend it.Buy Star Wars Attack of the Clones REPUBLIC GUNSHIP (AOTC)!

I have the same complaint with CLONE WARS Anakin Skywalker. While the figure bears a very accurate physical resemblance to the animated character both in face and costume, it lacks flexibility. While the head and the arms can move well, the shoulder plates limit raising the arms above the head. The legs only move at the hips, having stiff knees and ankles. My son and daughter still play with the figure (it is Obiwan Kenobi after all!), but they both think he should have the articulation of a clone trooper, and they're right. If Ahsoka's legs can bend, why cant Obiwan and Anakin?

Hasbro provided a couple of useless accessories such as a clone helmet, and a rocket back back with a firing missile. You have to pop off Obiwan's head to pop on the helmet and I've never seen my kids play with the rocket pack. There is of course a blue lightsaber.

Overall, a necessary addition to the cast, but Hasbro could have done better.

This is one of my favorite commanders out of all the others. But the knees could use some work.I bought him along with like 5 other Galactic Marines,and some stormtroopers too because during the Mygetto scene i saw like 2 in the background(if you didn't see them,try looking closely behind that big rock near General Mundi,on the right,while he's deflecting the blasters from CIS,the one waving his hands were the first stormtroopers i saw). Overall its good for any collector,currently i'm collecting Marines,and like i said earlier,i already got 5 and still getting more,so my limit would probably be like 12 maybe.Buy Star Wars E3 BF76 COMMANDER BACCARRA!

I always wanted Star Wars action figures as a kid but wasn't able to acquire any but last week I saw these figures at Toys r Us and Target. A worker told me they came out last year... Anyways I purchased this darth maul along with vader, boba fett, and obi kenobi, ALL of them were the last one. I saw bunch of troopers, storm, biker, 501, etc... but NO commanders... Bunch of Padme and Imperial officers they look bad no wonder nobody buys them. Also saw few R2D2s and destroyer driods too.

Overall these figures are cool, lots of articulation! Very poseble and makes nice display. Light sabers are made of clear plastic and most characters/figures have nice fabric clothes. If you shop for these at retail stores and see more than 2 of the same figure, compare them and pick the better one because paint can vary slightly from figure to figure.Buy Darth Maul with Collector Coin - Star Wars Saga Legends!

This was bought as a Christmas present for my 5 year old son, who is a huge Star Wars fan. We call them "Roger, Roger" droids, because that's what they say in the cartoon. He loves them (I bought more than 1). I don't really see any educational value, but it does work his fine motor skills. They're not very durable, because legs and arms come off pretty easily, but if you've ever seen the cartoon when fighting the Jedi they don't hold up very well and my son thinks it great that they come apart so easily.
