My 4 & 5 year old love Star Wars so I thought this transformer toy would be a lot of fun for them and offer some "puzzle solving" type skills and then be a fun toy for them to pretend to fly around. I can only speak for this particular model but what a waste of money. It's challenging enough for both me and my husband to change it from one form to the other - it is stiff, cheaply made with many small parts falling off at the slightest of touches, some of which are difficult to reconnect back after they come apart. My Star Wars fans play non stop with many other Star Wars themed toys like their legos and even those McDonald bobbleheads but they have yet to express any interest in this toy at all after 3 weeks of having it.Buy Star Wars Transformers Crossovers Republic Gunship!

Bought this piece as a display item, but found out it is more of a kiddie toy. When the wings are closed, the wings do not line up, give the appearence that the cannons are attached in a crooked fashion.

This replica of Obi-Wan Kenobi's Starfighter is great. I originally bought it to display on my computer desk but my 7 year old son had other ideas. He 'convinced' me to share the ship. And once I opened the box, we acted out Star Wars scene after Star Wars scene.

What is also great about this toy is if you drop it, it doesn't break. But, don't make it a habit? In any case, its a fun purchase!

Oh, and on our box it told us we got a battle droid, but there wasn't any inside. I am not sure if its a misprint, so concider this a friendly heads up.

These are the absolutely the best starwars toys for younger children, 5 and below, on the market. I'm a Star Wars fanatic and I just love collecting all the figures and toys and displaying them in scenes inspired from the movie.
I've got 90% of all the ships and vehicles from the "modern" star wars line (POTF2 to present), and frankly Hasbro seems to be lowering it's quality in the ships and vehicles lines lately, although the contrary has happened in the action figure lines.

I'm disappointed with this toy because:
1. One of the transparent "blades" of the vehicle was loose when I took the toy out of the box. There will be a durability issue if kids play with the toy.
2. The vehicle sees VERY limited screen time in the movie, so it's not a very "cool" vehicle for a kid to have. I bet any kid would prefer Grievous's wheel bike or any of the Jedi Starfighters.
3. There's also the issue with the almost non-articulated pilot, which is plain useless if taken out of the vehicle. This seems to be the new norm with Hasbro (see also the AT-RT, Boga & Obi-Wan, BARC speeder...)
4. The "action feature" of the moving blades is the most lame feature I've seen.

Both my children enjoy the CLONE WARS, but my daughter really loves the strong female characters. Ventress comes out of the toy box every time and my daughter is uncharacteristically meticulous with the figure's really cool accessories.

The figure looks just like the dark Jedi herself and is much better done that older black & white versions. Her face, tattoos and clothing are extremely detailed. The articulation is astounding! The legs are like tooth picks compared to a clone, but bend the same ways. While the elbows don't move, we're still able to get it into really cool action poses.

The accessories are great. While the stuff that comes with Anakin and Obiwan are superfluous, Ventress comes with two lightsabers that connect at the bases just like in the series. It's an impressive feat considering their size and durability. There's also a Count Dooku hologram, which is a nice touch. It's less than an inch tall, but holds up to scrutiny literally under a microscope.

An excellent toy and a true 'action' figure.
