This is a must have figure. Who else are the Jedi and clones going to slaughter anyway?

Hasbro is using a harder plastic than previous battle droids, so they've managed to make it look more minimal without sacrificing durability. There is better articulation in the shoulders, elbows and hips than older models and believe or not the head swivels on a ball joint. Its neck is very stiff, so you need to work it a little. The chest also rotates, which is nice. Unfortunately, the hands and knees dont bend. The blaster rifle isn't too tough, but my kids have a hard time getting it to hold rocket launcher.

The droids backpack sits well on the back and the antennae sits far away enough from the head so they dont hit, which is a problem with the legacy battle droid. Unfortunately, there's no slot to holster the blaster on the backpack.

It doesn't stand well unassisted so invest in those official Star Wars stands.

The biggest drawback is the cost. Its a good quality figure, but it takes a lot of abuse from the kids. We have two battle droids, and they get knocked down by the Republic forces as fast as we can set them up. An army of these things would be prohibitively expensive. The legacy two pack is a better bargain for the kids, even though they lack articulation. If you're looking for a collectable, this is your droid.

This little replica R2-D2 interactive droid is really fun!
There are all sorts of commands for R2 to follow and also some games
I was searching around on YouTube and came across a bunch of videos of this R2-D2
interactive droid and found out there are "easter egg" there like hidden commands that
are not listed in the manual, this is very cool.
The best video was R2-D2 vs the household dog lol.
This is AWESOME it will probably be a sought after collectible in the future.

don't let this clone trooper's lanky build throw you off! When I first bought mine, I was doubtful of the new design, but it turned out to be as enjoyable and nearly as flexible as its pre-Clone Wars line counterparts. This figure's flexibility is solid, with added articulation to the wrists and torso. Although the legs aren't as flexible, they've joints at the hips, knees, and ankles, so they are bendable enough. The rocket launcher is a nifty weapon, and shoots its missile surprisingly far, and the blaster is easily gripped and held by the figure. Even its new sculpture, based on the animated Clone Wars movie and TV series, grows on you after a while. Its battle-ready appearance is only enhanced by the dirt marks and scuffs smudged onto the torso. Overall, this figure is well articulated, comes with a variety of weapons, and is surprisingly durable considering its lanky form, making it a choice toy for the backyard battle-reenactor. Yet it is also very nice to look at for the desk-prop collector. Hasbro pulled through again with this nicely-done clone trooper. My six-year old recently saved up his money to purchase anakin. He opened the packaging without me, so if there were instructions, I never saw them. However, the toy was easy to figure out. We didn't have any problem with the fire action weapon. When you gently push down (not in) on the back of the blue fire, it shoots out quickly a foot or so. He loves this part. The lightsaber doesn't stay in his hand well, unless you turn it so the "thumb groves" go over anakin's thumb. Then it stays quite well. I thought the rope thing would do more (like hook to the fire weapon), but all we could figure out was to put both handles in anakin's hand and let him hang from it. The handles stay in his hands well. He hung the whole time I held him that way. My son loves star wars and legos, but many legos are not durable enough for his rough play, so I'm glad to have discovered this group of action figures. This sleek red space fighter from the dumb Clone Wars cartoon must've been designed by somebody who has young kids. Unlike every other ship for the Star Wars figures currently available, this one doesn't have a bunch of little parts that fall off immediately, and doesn't require a surgeon to spend a few hours carefully applying the sheet of little stickers.

This really comes in handy. The other day at breakfast, my brother would not let go of my Eggo. I walked away and came back with my trusted lightsaber and sliced his hand off with it still holding the Eggo. I ate it with his hand so my fingers wouldn't get sticky from the syrup. Needless to say, he doesn't sit down at breakfast with me anymore.

We'll have to travel a bit further for apple picking for the next few seasons.
