I bought this for my 8 year old son for Christmas. It is a really cool toy. R2D2 listens to voice commands, he plays hide-and seek, and even dances. R2D2 will even go on patrol, and alert you if someone enters the room. We have had R2 for almost a year now, and my son still enjoys him. This is an overall good figure. the geonosian warrior is really dumb and hard to stand up but the massif is really cool. if u have this set buy a set that includes a lightsaber too because the massifs bottom jaww coms off and gos on easily, so have fun cutting it off. if you find i reccomend u buy it just for the massif.

Let me preface by saying if your kids want one, don't let this review dissuade you. However keep in mind a couple of issues:
1. The toy is indicated for 5-12 year olds. We all think our kids are 'better than average' so we don't worry about buying on the low end of the ranges, right? We got this for my 5 year-old's birthday and he really likes it, however, the helmet is heavy and bulky. I'd guess 2-3 lbs. My son is just under 40lbs so you are talking 5-8% of his body weight. If I had a 10-15lb helmet on based on my weight I think it would also quickly tire me. Again, not the products fault, just something to consider when you are buying it for smaller kids.
2. Limited visibility. Like a motorcycle helmet, you aren't wearing this and running through the woods in the backyard. Very limited downward visibility, so difficult to see where you are walking.
3. After you put it together, I'd suggest gluing the parts together. I haven't done this yet, but I have had my son bring the parts to me and ask me to put it back together. It fits together, but doesn't snap/lock in place.

My 6 year old absolutely loves this Jango Fett Transformer and the other Star Wars transformers he has. After looking at the instructions once or twice he can make the transformations in a snap. He loves ALL his Star Wars traditional action figures and for the smaller kids the Galactic Heroes figures RULES. YES there are small parts, he knows not to lose the parts and has so far been careful about it. I spent about 30minutes trying to open the LIGHTsaber. I went back to the reviews and saw that it does not light up. Very disappointing. It is very durable and my kids like to battle with them. This set was OK. I got it for my boys (4 and 6) to add to their Star Wars stuff. They are not all that interested in these minor characters though. They would much rather play with the stars of the Movies.

The figures themselves are great though. The detail and flexabilty are great and accessories the Star Wars figures always come with are cool.

If you are a collector or are trying to build a huge set, you should add these. If you are looking for a toy for your kids, you may be better off buying the stars of Star Wars though.

We purchased several Clone Wars vehicles and action figures for our 2 boys aged 6 and 8 1/2. The action figures are ALL flimsy. Their hands come off and are lost and they are weak, flimsy plastic... not durable. These figures would be appropriate for a collection, something you would put on display. They can not and do not stand up to constant play. The age 4 yr suggestion is false advertising. My children own several kinds of action figure: GI Joes, The Corps, etc. These are by far the flimsiest and clearly inferior. We've never had actions figures wear down like this... even compared to the cheapo Corps stuff from Walmart! JUNK! This figure is from the animated movie line of star wars action figures and in my opinion, one of my favorite figures. This guy comes with a rocket firing rocket launcher, and a DC-15 carbine rifle. This was a gift for my 11year old daughter last year. She is Star Wars crazy and a collector of Monopoly board games, so this was PERFECT!
