The build and light/sound quality of this is great. Takes a good beating and has a realistic set of "turn-on", "turn-off", "swing", and "clash" sounds. Compared to the Rubies costume sabers, this model is rock-solid (Rubies' accessories are quite junky, even if they are cheap).

Two exceptions: 1) The lowest segment of the "blade" never retracts, I think this was to make room in the handle for the sound and motion electronics, but I've seen newer models that retract completely, 2) It turns off after about 3 minutes of not being used... this is great if you're in constant saber battles, but really? couldn't this have been a bit longer?

This pack is very nice... very detailed compaired to the game. The package includes 2 Jedi and 1 Sith. It also comes with 3lightsabers (on the box you only see 2)and lightning.As well as two lightsaber hilts.

I wanted to get Darth Maul, but couldn't find any worth buying. So I decided to try this one out.
Darth Maul: I love the detail, if you look closly you can see pointed yellow teeth. His lightsaber is the darkest of this set. At first I was skepticel about his shirtlessness but I don't mind now. Part of his skirt-thing is cloth, as with everyone's in this set, a cool little addition. I recently bought another Maul figure with a cloth cloak, and I put it on this guy and he looks awsome.
Darth Bane: I hadn't heard of this guy before. He is a cool figure and is nicly detailed. His lightsaber is puple, I'm guessing thats accurate. His removable armor (face-plate, wrist-gaurds) is pretty tight, however is the only extra the set comes with. His cape is removable, a cool little additon.
Darth Nihilous: This guy is from the video game Knights of the Old Republic 2, and being a game charecter I doubted much articulation. I noticed his left arm (your right side) was bent strangly in the photo. I assumed it could only swivel side to side. How wrong I was. His arm can actually bend like that, which is tight. His lightsaber is red, however lighter than Maul's. His cape is cloth and has an odd feel to it, perfect for Nihilous' character. His hood is removable revealing his hair tied in dreadlocks. His mask is nicly dietailed, and his hand is in a nice force posture.

This figure completed my Arc trooper collection. If you want to get a neat little Arc trooper squad than you need to get this figure! His helmet is removable as wells as his quad cannon. Again, Dad was right. My 7 year old son was a little underwhelmed at first because it's not big, ugly and armed to the teeth. It's also not a cool clone. Once he opened it, he couldn't put it down. It's the most posable TCW figure out there, including the clones! This guy bends his elbows, knees and ankles, swivels his head, wrists and waist, plus he has ball joints in the hips and shoulders. He can make even the wildest Spiderman poses. If that's not enough, his clawed hands open and close too! He can hold onto the two standard battle droid blaster (in metallic blue, but there's a gray variation out there), which can clip onto his backpack holster.

Parents, don't give them what they want. Tell them what they can have!

This is easily one of the best figures of the 2006 saga collection, along with cody, scorch, and the countless of new clones and stormtroopers that hasbro is coming out with. It's a repaint, and it's a little bit hard to find but, its a very good troop builder. Great job hasbro! The 2007 30th anniversery collection is coming out soon, and it promises lots of clones!
