Hasbro continue their series of figures from the animated series The Clone Wars with #19 Clone Trooper - 212th Attack Battalion. Unlike the figures from the parallel The Legacy Collection series, these figures sport a more stylised 'animated' appearance and as such certain body proportions and structures can look a little odd.
Taking the best components of the 2008 Clones, we have an excellently articulated trooper with the orange markings of the infamous 212th.
The Trooper has head (rotational and vertical), shoulder (rotational and abductional), elbow (rotational and vertical), wrist (rotational and abductional on right wrist), torso (rotational and vertical), hips (vertical), knee (rotational and vertical) and ankle (rotational and vertical) articulation giving him a massive 25 ranges of movement.
He is armed with a black BlasTech DC-15A blaster rifle and a black shoulder cannon which fires the black missile with a push of a button.

It is too small, way too fragile and I am disapointed with the new line of toys. They made them smaller and they actually hold the guns worse then the 80's toys!

Let me start by saying I have no children but have been a Star Wars collector since the start.

The game play is simple as you'd expect. Turns consist of rolling the die and moving on the board. The spaces tell the you to draw a new card or fight. The "fighting" involves each player secretly selecting a card from their hand and then revealing them with the higher card winning. Each character also has some "special" cards in their deck that can do various things like drawing extra cards.

Your character's health is shown by six, two-sided tiles that make a picture of the person. If you lose a fight you flip one piece over to the damaged side. Once all six tiles are damaged, you lose.

From a collector's standpoint I'd say you're better off spending your money on the figure packs if you like Galactic Heroes. I think the 2 figures in the game are straight repacks, so nothing new there. The game board does make a nice little are to display your figures though! The other components are decent and seem like they'd stand up to repeated play. I imagine young kids would probably enjoy the game a few times and would play with the figures outside the game.

Why, you ask? Because this gorgeous little Star Wars figure comes with two bodies! That's right, TWO bodies! We now have a Princess Leia Organa as Jabba's Slave figure that comes with a reclining body position. If you have a good Jabba figure to set her up next to (or maybe a Han figure, ha), you can make quite a display with this toy! Leia comes in the package with a typical (okay, much hotter than typical) Star Wars 3.75 action figure body, but whenever you want to, you can separate her from that body at the hips and plug her torso into the pre-posed reclining position lower body, and it looks great either way!

With either body, Leia's upper section has great articulation, jointed at the head, wrists, and doubly at the shoulders and elbows. Even the upper section of her upper half can be turned. When on her fully articulated lower body though, she of course also has articulated knees, hips, and even ankles. Highlights on the articulated lower half are real cloth material and even a G-string situation going on in the back (did the old Leia figures have that?! I think I'd remember it, but I didn't get them all). The boots have very nice detail, but beware that the golden belt and cloth sections are separate and can be removed, when you separate the top half of the toy from the bottom half. Could make for an even sexier Leia fig, but could also allow you to lose pieces. Leia's solid plastic, reclining lower half is very nicely detailed too, and her upper half is fantastic, even having a decent face. The only issue I have at all with this figure is that Leia wears a collar and chain around her neck that is too short. Her braid is longer! So, you can't take the free end of the chain and put it in Jabba's hand or anything. Plus, it is not removable... Still, with everything else about this figure being so awesome, it's a small complaint.

Leia comes with a skiff weapon, a goblet for her master, and being part of the fantastic build-a-droid promotion, the torso of R3-M3. R3-M3 is a great little Imperial astromech droid from Episode 4, I believe, and the only build-a-droid figure I've completed so far, ha. I love this build-a-droid idea, just wish these figures were more affordable. But, when I find one like this, I don't mind at all. And, this figure seems to be rather hard to find, at least in my area, so if you find one, snatch it up right away! It's well worth it! Or, I guess you could just order one here, ha. And, as a current promotion, you can save up the Proof of Purchases to order a Qui-Gon figure with an Eopie for around 6.99. I'm currently waiting for mine to arrive.

My 4 & 5 year old love Star Wars so I thought this transformer toy would be a lot of fun for them and offer some "puzzle solving" type skills and then be a fun toy for them to pretend to fly around. I can only speak for this particular model but what a waste of money. It's challenging enough for both me and my husband to change it from one form to the other - it is stiff, cheaply made with many small parts falling off at the slightest of touches, some of which are difficult to reconnect back after they come apart. I love the outfit and physique sculpt on this latest Padme Amidala figure from the Clone Wars computer animated series. I so wish we'd gotten a Padme action figure from the 2D Clone Wars show. This Padme is double articulated at the knees, elbows, and shoulders, a big improvement over the previous Clone Wars Padme, and she also turns at the waist and arms. Plus, of course, she is jointed at the hips and head. Though it stays permanently on her, her belt can ride up easily and is a bit high as it is for keeping the gun in the holster, but it still looks good and fits in well, and she also looks great holding her blaster, one of two accessories. The other accessory is a spring launched grappling hook. As one expects from any Padme figure, this toy is a hottie, but I must say that I like the face used for the previous Padme figure better. It may be way more cartoony, with its big eyes and all, but this one looks more like Jennifer Lopez than Natalie Portman. It's more realistic looking, but just not cute enough, and they need something more in between the two. I'm afraid I have to dock this figure one star for that issue, as I find it less recognizable as Padme (it's mainly the eyes I think), though otherwise it's an excellent addition to your Star Wars collection and a must if you're a Padme lover. She wears her new outfit well. I just wish this Clone Wars line came with build-a-droid parts. My sons love Mighty Muggs! They can "battle" with them and make all sorts of noise banging them together. The Muggs are not plush, but they aren't crazy-hard either. Okay, I bought this figure the same time I bought the new Darth Vader with removable helmet. First thing is, I really do like it, but it could have been more detailed like the Jedi Knight Luke figure in the 30th anniversary series. I bought it anyway and decided to overlook that and the fact that he comes with some type of goggles and a head cloth thing. I saw all that and I still bought it so I have no reason to complain.
