The clone Trooper 3 pack a very fun toy. I was able to recreate many battles that occured in the movies. They are very durrable and will last for a long time. The only down side of the clones were that, unlike the clones that are individually packed, they did not have as many points of articulation and are always stuck in the same positions. Since the clones are stuck in the same postion they are hard to store in the Star Wars action Figure carring cases and sometimes arn't able to pose correctly in battle. Here we have Giran, the Nikto Guard who helped Malakili (the Rancor Keeper) care for the Rancor. He's the other Rancor Keeper, basically. This reptilian creature is captured truly remarkably by the folks at Hasbro, and I mean truly remarkably! The details on this one will truly awe you! so many tiny scales and horns, the wrinkles in his clothes and the studs on his armor, his removable hood and his force pike, it all looks absolutely perfect, and Giran is well articulated too. If you collect Star Wars figures, this one is a must, even if he is just a background character. The job they did on this particular figure is just too amazing. Definitely one of the best Star Wars figures I've ever seen. And, as an added bonus, Giran is part of the Build-a-Droid line, coming with the main body part (or torso, for lack of a better word) of R5-C7. I recently was able to complete R5-C7, and he is a great little astromech droid (from Episode 2, Attack of the Clones, I believe). My son has had this for about 2 years and it has really held up to a lot of use. It isn't too hard to transform, sometimes he needs a little help but if I can do it anyone can! I recieved this figure a week ago, after deciding to add it to my collection of every other Vader figure ever made, and, playing the Force Unleashed game. I felt I definately appreciated this fugure more after playing the game and seeing the events of how this figure came to be. The detail is excellent with his battle damaged armor and lifesupport systems. Also, the pieces he comes with, including his helmet, actually fit on him well and don't look goofy. Of course, he also comes with Vaders standard lightsaber. Articulation is also very good and it doesn't negatively impact the sculpt of the figure at all. I bought this collection for my 8 year old daughter who LOVES Star Wars. I would compare the product to the Polly Pocket dolls. She has spent hours playing with the dolls and has them "hanging out" with her other Star Wars action figures that are usually marketed for boys. This replica of Obi-Wan Kenobi's Starfighter is great. I originally bought it to display on my computer desk but my 7 year old son had other ideas. He 'convinced' me to share the ship. And once I opened the box, we acted out Star Wars scene after Star Wars scene.

What is also great about this toy is if you drop it, it doesn't break. But, don't make it a habit? In any case, its a fun purchase!

Oh, and on our box it told us we got a battle droid, but there wasn't any inside. I am not sure if its a misprint, so concider this a friendly heads up.

Many of the reviews for this toy take aim with the durability. I will agree that this is not a toy intended for children. There are joints that are stiff (force it and it could break), and joints that look flimsy (the ankle rotation in particular seems to be a common complaint).

My model didn't have the ankle issue but did have the too-large-to-grip-lightsaber issue. You can work around this though, which is acceptable for display purposes.

Additionally, the transformatioon instructions did not perfectly match the capabilities of my model. It indicated some motions that were obviously not available, either due to revision of the toy post production or simply due to changes in the design process not reflected in the literature.

now this might sound like I hated this toy, but that can't be farther from the truth. It is just SO cool. The X-Wing includes some great detail, it just looks fabulous. And to top it off, it transforms. Seriously, how cool is that? the mini-figure fits into both the ship and robot modes, it comes with a lightsaber and makes me feel like I'm 8 all over again. What more could I ask for.

I am not an avid collector so I can't attest to this unit as being worthy of investment status, and I can't recommend it to parents for kids who will actually play with it. But to old Stars Wars and Transformers fans, I couldn't recommend it more.
