Hasbro continue their new Legacy Collection for 2009 with wave five consisting of figures from A New Hope. As they did last year, these figures continue the Build-A-Droid theme with a component of an Astromech droid included with every figure.
Another figure twin pack that treats us to two more alien's from the Cantina. You get Trinto Duaba, who was sitting next to Momaw Nadon, and Dice Ibegon, a female Force sensitive Florn Lamproid and lover of Lak Sivrak.
Trinto has head (rotational and vertical), shoulder (rotational and abductional), elbow (rotational), wrist (rotational), torso (rotational), hips (vertical) and knee (rotational and vertical) and ankle (rotational and vertical) articulation which gives him an excellent 21 ranges of movement.
He is armed with a silver blaster pistol which fits into the holster on his left hip and has a removable plastic head and shoulder wrap.
Dice Ibegon comes in two parts which simply clip together. As such she has a full three hundred and sixty degrees of movement at the torso and her six arms can all rotate a full three hundred and sixty degrees as well.
There is also the main body of R2-L3. The rest of this droid is included with figures #33, #35, and #36.

This Obi-Wan Kenobi toy is by far the coolest toy of Obi-Wan. You can move him around and HE DOESN'T HAVE MAGNETS ON HIM! He comes with a blue lightsaber plus a lightsaber handle. It is the older Obi-Wan from the last three Star Wars movies. That's what makes him so cool. If not for the fact that the lightsaber blades came apart from the hilt, these would be some of the greatest Star Wars villain toys ever! They look pretty close to the comic, have some better articulation than some other models (speaking more of Ventress than Skor). I like them from a collector's standpoint, but they could use some superglue. This is one of the finest sculpted Star Wars action figures I have ever seen. The likeness to Natalie Portman is incredible, and so beautiful you'll not want to cover it with the ultra cool helmet accessory that completes her guard disguise. Articulated at the shoulders, arms, legs, knees, boots, and head (maybe the waist too, since it gives that appearance, but I wasn't able to twist mine and decided to give up before possibly breaking it), this figure looks like she stepped right out of the screen from those first few moments of Episode 2: Attack of the Clones. Extremely detailed, with a lovely blaster that looks great whether in her hand or in the slot on her belt, a well crafted helmet that I did not find difficult to put on or remove, and quick-draw action that doesn't result in an awkward looking/moving arm this time around, this figure is one the Hasbro folks should be extremely proud of! The figure also comes with an accessory in the form of an "exploding" satellite dish. The extra object is nice looking, but does not hold together well, and consists of 5 basic parts. First of all, Mace is extremely difficult to find..it took me almost a month to finally track one down at a local toys r us. But boy, was the wait worth it. The figure actually looks like Sam Jackson, which was a huge plus, and has a stone-faced expression on the face, which is appropriate for the character and much better than the "screaming" version from the AOTC line. Very poseable and has a cool feature..he "throws" off some force lightning from his shoulders. It also comes with his cool signature purple electrum lightsaber. Overall, its a great figure and if you manage to find one, you should consider yourself lucky. Also, its fun to customize Mace with the robe off of Agen Kolar's figure for a more "complete" feel. It's nice to see some Episode I figures again, and this one is a fine Obi-Wan for a child to play with. He has a removable cloth cloak, his lightsaber, and a communicator that can clip to his belt. He can hold each of those things in one hand without too much trouble. If you are a collector and not a completist, however, you may want to consider passing this one up. Hasbro pieced it together from several previous Obi-Wan figures, and it doesn't look quite right in some ways because of this, most notably in the strange angle his head is being held in. Also, they decided to make his pants brown rather than white, which is a bit strange since all the previous Episode I Obi-Wan figures I can think of were colored correctly. His braid is nicely done - it resembles actual hair rather than plastic.

The figure has no "action feature" but is not heavily articulated, either. It does fit fine on the display base, however, and looks nice if all you intend to do with it is display it in a neutral pose. Toys were much smaller than expected for high price. Fairly good detail, not very sturdy - putting the pieces together puts a significant amount of strain on some parts, and I'm not confident that the toys will last very long.
